Briefly, describe why: Ms. Walker is an educator who truly motivates and inspires all children that she encounters.  She constantly goes beyond what is required of her to make sure her students, who she affectionately refers to as the "Dolphins," are educated, that they invest their all into their learning and that they develop a love for learning.  Ms. Walker does this with her "Dolphins" as well as children throughout the school and beyond.  She strives to motivate all of her students (through inquiry based learning and more) and most of her students leave the school year having made at least 1 and in some cases 2 years of growth.  Ms. Walker constantly involves herself and her colleagues in various professional development opportunities in order to ensure her continued growth and development in the field of education. Ms. Walker ROCKS!!!!
