Teachers Rock Nomination: Lucy Pikul

Name of the teacher who rocks! Lucy Pikul
School in which she/he teaches: John E Burke Elementary School
Briefly, describe why: Mrs. Pikul is always up on the latest information in regards to literacy. She was on the adoption committee, volunteered to be the school facilitator and was instrumental in getting the whole school up and running with the supplemental web site.  She collaborates with her peers and makes sure her students experience engaging lessons with attention being paid to different learning styles. Mrs. Pikul also is facilitates our web page and is always updating the many different links to multiple grades and subject matter.
